After earning her BSc in physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 1986, Nathalie obtained her diploma in osteopathy from the Montreal College of Osteopathy (CEO) in 1993. As a clinician, she works with a wide variety of clients and has developed expertise in the following areas of practice:

  • Perinatal care (pregnancy and postnatal monitoring; newborn follow-up; treatment of plagiocephaly and torticollis);
  • Fertility problems;
  • Menstrual cycle disturbances;
  • Menopause disorders;
  • Problems linked to aging.

She became an owner/partner of the Poirier Viau Osteopathy Clinic in 1999.

Also, for 27 years, she was involved as a clinician/teacher at CEO. Her field of expertise was teaching human physiology. She also taught the evaluation and treatment of pelvic and cranial mechanics. She has also directed students in writing their theses. She helped implement the CEO’s outpatient clinic in Montreal and acted as co-manager for many years.

In 2002, the CEO presented her with the Andrew Taylor Still award for her exceptional commitment to promoting and advancing the recognition of osteopathy.

In 2010, she joined forces with other osteopathy clinic owners and became a founding member of the Qualita network.

She has taken many development courses in osteopathy and continues to seek opportunities to improve her knowledge and palpation skills.
